Artist's statement;

An exhibited artist and photographer, my work is largely concerned with the passing of time, its capturing, the marks it leaves and even its distortion. As a true flâneur, my love of trawling the pavements for 'found' objet d'art provides an effective base for styling both fashion and interiors and a fresh perspective on photography and design.

I produce work on canvas, cotton, silk and paper as well as one-off artist's journals; artefacts that provide a unique hand held tactile experience of my work. My silk pieces are a bespoke unique wearable - or hangable - design, all made in Manchester, hand finished and printed securely on to 100% silk georgette. News of my work has reached the ears - and eyes - of that great doyen of British design himself, Sir Paul Smith. Both local and national radio pick up on my slant on the world with regular contributions to magazine programmes.
